Every year, after a 10-day service immersion trip to Mexico, the participants who have had a transformative experience with the people of Mexico are eager to share their stories and reflections with family and friends. In the past, after returning home, participants were invited to submit their stories and reflections to be compiled, printed and published as a “Project Mexico Reflection Book”. You may read the electronic version of those books in the "Past Year Reflections" column.
This year, instead of cutting more trees to produce the reflection book, Project Mexico participants will share their reflections and stories in this blog. This way, not only will their stories and reflections be individually published and edited online, but they will reach out to boundless readers who have access to internet. In the blog, the readers will be able to provide their comments or feedback, and that will help participants in their journey as they continue to process this valuable experience.
If you want to learn more about Project Mexico and its mission, please read the student leaders posting – “Mission of Project Mexico”. You are welcome to comment on each posting below.
